Blue Rock’s 3rd Birthday Open House was a huge success!  Hundreds of guests came to the Wimberley hills and enjoyed over 500 local tamales, organic Whimsicles, desserts, artist stage, and tours of Blue Rock Studio.  We were proud to share a glimpse of Jason Eady’s upcoming album produced by our friend Kevin Welch.  Jazz pianist, Paul English, provided us with an exquisite demonstration of what Rupert Neve Designs and sE Electronics have accomplished with their brand new RNR1 active ribbon microphone (Neve’s first ever microphone design!).  Dozens of artists graced the Blue Rock stage.  The acoustic eclectic gypsy band, Po’ Girl, from Vancouver, rocked the house, along with Sam Baker, Jason Eady, The Jason Spooner Trio, Grammy-nominated Rosalie Sorrels, Danny Schmidt, and many others.  Thank you for the remarkable sprits and generosity of all!  Ejoy these photos by Rodney Bursiel.
